Quick Curbside Guide
City Garbage
Garbage Cart
- Use the City-issued garbage cart and keep the lid fully closed.
- Place the cart near the driveway apron, clear of trees, meters, hydrants, and other obstacles.
- Allow 3–4 feet from the mailbox and at least 2 feet from the recycling cart.
- Keep all household garbage contained inside the cart.

Keep out: plastic bags and film, foam, food, textiles, cords, and construction debris.
City Trash Collection
Yard & Bulky Items
- Place items curbside no earlier than two days before the scheduled trash day.
- Use recyclable paper bags for grass and leaves.
- Keep yard debris, bulky items, and household garbage separated.
- Remove doors and drawers from appliances before curbside collection.
